In one, the hosts visit a water park in another, they go to the commoner department store and in two others, Haruhi is reunited with an old friend named Sayuri and Tamaki is reunited with an old friend named Jean-Pierre. One day, Haruhi, a scholarship student at exclusive Ouran High School, breaks an 80,000 vase that belongs to the Host Club, a mysterious campus group consisting of six super-rich (and gorgeous) guys. The game progresses through five individual storylines or episodes that span Haruhis first two months at Ouran Academy. There are many possible game endings, depending on which boy the player pursues and how much each host grows to like Haruhi.Įach hosts attraction to Haruhi is directly related to in-game choices.Īt the end of the day, two charts illustrate how much profit Haruhi has made and how much each host likes her. Twice per day in host mode, Haruhi has to choose one of six options to best entertain a particular guest: the appropriate time to serve refreshments, talk about himself, ask about the guest, find a conversation topic, or say nothing. Both games borrow strong elements from the dating sim genre, though classified as a romantic adventure game. ![]()
